About Me.
My Mom took me to library storytimes as a toddler and I’ve loved the library every since. I grew up in Mundelein and was so proud of my library card from Cook’s bookmobile! After living in South Carolina and Florida, I returned to the district as a resident of Vernon Hills for 16 years before moving to Libertyville 10 years ago.
I have a B.S. in Accountancy from Clemson University, an MBA from Duke University, and hold a CPA license in Illinois. My professional background includes public accounting, corporate accounting for educational publishers, and accounting/tax/human resources for small non-profits.
Public service is a focus of my professional life as Controller for small non-profits and have volunteered as a tax preparer for the IRS/AARP program. I was previously a clarinetist in the Libertyville Village Band, manage a Great Books book club, enjoy yoga and walking.
